WELCOME TO FLEETWOOD COMMUNITY CENTER
Fleetwood Community Center is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization located in beautiful Nelson County, Virginia. The school is located in the Massies Mill area.
Our mission is to enhance lives through education, events, and physical activities for our diverse community. This school has a rich history and means a great deal to older residents who attended Fleetwood years ago. In 1930 it was established as the first high school in Nelson County.
In order to raise money to help restore the historical Fleetwood School for use as a local education center, recreation facility and tourism destination, we host many events.
Many look forward to the bi-annual spring and fall trail ride which was started in 1993, as a PTO fund raising event. The trail ride was so successful, we continued hosting it after the elementary schools consolidated.
The Fleetwood trail ride is made possible through the generosity of private landowners and through the efforts of volunteers in the community.
Fleetwood also hosts an ice cream social, has inside yard sales, music festivals, car shows and more!
